Taken while on vaction in Minnesota. Little Falls,Mn is Charles Lindbergh's home town. I can just imagine this train staion took him away and brought him back as a National Hero. For our camping in Minnesta see this thread.

I tried many styles on this shot but opted for the posterized look like an old travel ad of the day.
memeories fade
the years pass by
old men and parades
tarnished medals held high
stained plaques on momunets
and on stone
part of the landscape
weathered and stand alone
does anyone stop
and ponder their feat
the hero's action
in the day was so sweet
where are they now
as the season come and go
the story is gone
does anybody want to know

....Now, a very great man once said
That some people rob you with a fountain pen
It didn’t take too long to find out
Just what he was talkin’ about
A lot of people don’t have much food on their table
But they got a lot of forks ’n’ knives
And they gotta cut somethin’....
