butterflies/moths etc

I love taking summer pictures and one thing I love to get pictures of is butterflies and or moths.

Of course that means one of my favorite places to go is butterfly rooms at the zoos or museums! lol

Here are a few pics I took while the kids and I visited the Milwaukee Museum the other day:

This one had so much fun flying all over it was hard to get it to sit still. lol At one point it even landed on my son and walked all over him!

This one was the big hit for the day. He enjoyed sitting on my grandson's hand and of course the kids loved it so up close and huge!

The best part though that gave everyone a chuckle was the fact that he moved over to the edge of my grandson's hand, lifted up the back end, and pee'ed a stream onto the floor! lol lol

I have to admit I never thought of a butterfly or moth doing this before. :lol: :lol:

We made another stop in at the Milwaukee Museum on Father's Day and of course had to check out the butterflies once more. lol

I loved the contrast of colors between the black on the butterfly and the red flowers.
