When I used a 35 mm camera I loved using our Canon and our Minolta. But when we made the switch to a digital camera I was totally hooked. lol
We now have a Canon EOS digital Rebel and it has been my most favorite camera I have ever had. It's simply an awesome camera. I would highly recommend that you research about this comera when you are in the market to puchase one before you look at any of the others.
One feature that was a selling point for us was the fact that it was the best one we could afford that would take the shots we needed when our kids were in compitition swim and diving off the diving board. It will shoot so fast that it didn't miss anything and didn't blur from the action.
When we first got the camera I had my son run full tilt at me while I was shooting and it was great. You could almost feel the wind frozen on his hair or see it in his shirt behind him as he was running and it was totally clear.
We also have a stereo view lens that I bought off Ebay that is totally fun to have as an extra 'toy'. Also we have the 300 mm lens we bought right after we purchased the camera.
I will say that I totally have a ton of things I can learn from this camera. I am a real amature at picture taking...lol but if anyone needs to learn, then it's really fun to have this camera to learn on.
One of my favorite photos I took this past week, (I seem to have a different favorite like every week) lol but check out the dandalion fourm and see the one full view picture I took and you will see how nice this camera takes clear pictures.
Hope this helped you to decide.
