the Grand Canyon-North Rim

Theses shots were taken at the Grand Canyon National Park-North Rim in the summer of 2004.
It was the 1st year we owned a pop-up camper and we took it on a 2 week trip to both the North and South Rims.
The North rim is much more remote than the South rim with the neasrest community "Jackobs Lake" 45 miles away.It is very rugged and desolate country getting to that point. This was the 2nd time I visited the canyon, I got just as much of a rush the 2nd time as I did the 1st. If you like the outdoors, this is a MUST destination.
The North rim sees about 1/10 the visitors than the more popular South rim. Each rim has it's special beauty and attributes. I enjoyed both rims very much. The shots below are very typical of the views you have at the North rim.
