Uss Missouri & The Uss Arizona Memorial

The begining and end of the war between USA and Japan.We visted the The USS Arizona memorial in 2003. From the memorial we could see the USS Missouri,
the ship that hosted the surrender of Japanese.This was a very special day and one we will never forget.

When I visited Pearl Harbor..."79ish...I took the tour boat to the sight of the USS Arizona. At that time, there was still oil rising to the water surface from the ship's engine.

Here you see the USS Coral Sea passing the USS Arizona Memorial. The USS Coral Sea is a Midway Class Aircraft Carrier(CV).

Oil leakage was still evident in 2003.
