"50 Rules Kids Won’t Learn in School"
Monday, September 10, 2007
7pm talk
Attributed to Bill Gates, featured by Ann Landers, quoted by graduation speakers, emailed by parents, the original 14 provocative rules for life in and after high school were really written by WTMJ’s television and radio host Sykes.
Now he expands his list and offers 50 rules not included in the curriculum for most children today. Sykes presents advice about what young people will encounter in the “real world” post-schooling and how their parents can help them prepare with honest challenges.
