Bunny Surrender

I just had a bunny surrendered to me

This bunny's nails were so long that the feet were being turned inward. The nails were well over 2" long and curling, twisting the feet.

I was given a few reasons.....
*Did not know how to trim
*Could not afford the vet visit
*bunny bites

I got those nails trimmed up right away with no problem. Due to the length of the nails this bunny was not able to hop or move freely

I just want to throw this out there.......if anyone needs help trimming nails ~ can't afford it, dont know how etc.....
Please just stop over and I will do this for you. This just takes a matter of seconds to do.

A notable offer Carol. I always cut my families bunnies’ nails in natural sunlight. With the blood clot powder and Q-Tips on hand for any emergencies.

I keep that on hand as well. Just never know when you might need it.

I'll have to trim the bunny nails again in about 7 days. Just a little bit to get that quick to go back down where it belongs. I did get about 1 1/2 " off each nail already....

I've had dogs, pigs, mini horses all come in with badly over grown nails/hooves. I"m not a ferrier and can't do horse hooves I sure can do pig hooves and dog/cat/bunny/ferret etc nails.....
