Feed America Wisconsin (formerly Second Harvest) is a food bank. Through our warehouses in Milwaukee and the Fox Valley we distribute more than 12 million pounds of food a year to more than 1100 pantries meal programs and other nonprofit agencies that serve nearly 300000 people in the eastern half of Wisconsin.

This is a great program and much appreciated by those in need. They come to our area once a month and there are always at least 140 families or more who are helped by this. I volunteered to hand out the food at the last two distributions and I really enjoyed working with the other volunteers who were helping. I was so humbled by the people who came through the lines and kept thanking us for giving of our time to help them out. I wish programs like this weren't necessary but I am glad that they are there when needed.
