Anyone here a minor league baseball fan?

We've got the Wisconsin TimberRattlers in Appleton, a Class A Seattle Mariners team. We have the Burlington Bees, a Class A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, and more.

Good websites (see http://www.minorleaguebaseball.com) and some fun looking deals, like a college day where beer, brats and admission are a buck apiece with a college ID. These look like good parks, and a good time for people who like the idea of taking in a ballgame.

Any fans out there who can tell us what's worthwhile?

We really enjoyed watching some amateur tournament games at Lions Daze a couple of weekends ago. Hope to catch more games like them at local parks.

Got to see the Timber Rattlers sometime too.

I used to love supporting my hometown team at the park..

Almost worth moving just so I have a local team to root for.. nothing like a day at the ballpark!

This quote is perhaps from an early posting (2007)but currently the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers have become affiliated with the Milwaukee Brewers.



Fox Cities Stadium is an excellent venue, and can be seen from Highway 41 as you head through Appleton... It's a great day out and well worth the drive.
