Writing Small Group meets in Milwaukee
Do you enjoy writing? Would you like to be a better writer? Would you like to know how to write? Can you take an idea and run with it or would you like to know how others do that?
Just a Word is simply a small group of those interested in writing. You will get a chance to express yourself in words. You will get a chance to edit and help others write and re-write pieces of interest.
It meets 9-10 a.m. the third Sunday of each month at Spirit Life Church on 76th Street, just north of Brown Deer Road; you need not be a member of the church to join.
The writing will sometimes be for yourself and sometimes for others. We will look at the writing process including getting an idea, putting down the thoughts, editing, re-writing and when to know it is a final piece. Many types of writing also will be discussed. As needed, we may be able to write monologues and skits for worship and help edit the church newsletter and brochures.
