The City of Oshkosh (pop. 66,000) is accepting applications for a Curator of Decorative Arts position. This position is responsible for all work in the area of decorative arts, including exhibition development as it relates to decorative arts. Work involves performance of tasks necessary to professionally identify, assess, catalog, photograph, research, exhibit, promote and manage a large decorative arts collection. The curator will have a central role in the long-term planning, acquisition and management of Germanic and Bohemian glass and ceramics, with the goal of creating and exhibiting a premier collection. Requirements include: BA or BS degree in art or art history, history or other applicable major, Master’s Degree in Museum Studies preferred, at least two years of professional curatorial work, and a valid
