UWM Genealogy Archives
The Archives department comprises the Milwaukee Area Research Center, the University of Wisconsin--Milwaukee Manuscript Collection, and the University of Wisconsin--Milwaukee Archives. The Archives preserves and provides access to the historical resources in these collections. The Archives also holds a reference collection of published materials that includes histories of area communities, businesses, and churches; books on Milwaukee's buildings and architecture; and UWM histories, yearbooks, and student newspapers.
