Milwaukee's The Scarring Party plays what is self-described as "end-timey" music. Tuba, accordion and banjo drive a band that draws on the influence of 20's and 30's music halls. Vocalist Daniel Bullock sings through a hand-built copper microphone, creating a sound that echoes like a long-forgotten Victrola. The Scarring Party transcends time, paying tribute to Vaudevillians past but creating a sound that is truly unique to modern music.
