theBubbler Up and Running

The newest version of theBubbler is up and running. The major changes have occurred in the user profile system. We removed Zoints in favor of vBulletin's built-in profiles. The forum software also features a multitude of enhancements to make thebubbler even better.

Well I'm sure we all survived the time out today.

I do have a quesiton about the upgrade though. On my personal page I noticed everything is all different and most of the things I had on is now gone. Pictures? All the comments left by friends..gone? Is there someway to get the comments back on?

Just wondering.

The site seems a bit "cleaner" somehow, and I'm noticing a perceptible increase in the speed of pages loading

The pictures are still in the gallery (they show as part of our post count.


It would be nice to see a gallery piece back on our Member page to tie-in to our own images in the gallery.

This is the big one, our guest books ... Hopefully we'll be able to get these back up (I must have had hundreds).

I think our friends lists remained intact this time around!

Anything else anyone has noticed?

I will look into getting your guestbook entries back, shouldn't be too much as all the data is still there, just needs to be converted to the new format.

As for gallery images, I have to figure out what direction we would like to go. vBulletin now has it's own user gallery option (it's disabled currently) similar to facebook's photo feature. We have to decide which of the systems we would like to use, possibly both.
