Gilda's Club of Southeastern Wisconsin
Gilda's Club provides a support community for men, women and children with all types of cancer. A non-profit organization, Gilda's Club provides free support, networking, lectures, workshops and social events for cancer patients and their families. Gilda's Club was developed by the late comedian Gilda Radner, her husband Gene Wilder (a Milwaukee native) and Joanna Bull, Gilda's cancer psychotherapist. After being diagnosed with ovarian cancer, Gilda captured the unique combination of camaraderie, friendship, humor, ambiguity, fears and hopes that arise when people face cancer.
