Voting is Open
Voting lasts until Tuesday, December 4 at noon. We have extended the voting period to allow more members to vote.
To vote, simply click on the word VOTE that will appear below the photo. You will only be able to vote once, so make your vote count. The photo with the most votes will win.
I believe all the photo issues have been resolved. If not, please let us know.

Hi Links, I sent you a pm but thought I should post it here also. I noticed on the contest that only 2 out of my 3 photos that I submitted are now showing. I also noticed on the 2 (reflections of fall, and window of fall) the vote tab is not working. It just shows '0 votes' and not a tab to 'vote' like the other pics.
I received email notices this morning saying the photos have been moved and when clicking on the link the photo that is no longer in the contest shows that the image is not available. I also checked 'my photos' section and the photo is gone.
I have not made any changes with my photos at all so not sure what happened.
Not saying anyone would like to vote for my photos (but I hope they do lol) could you please check this out and see why I'm seeing this on my end that voting is not working and where my 3rd photo went to?

I would like to know why my photos were pulled...if im not mistaken by the DATES on the photos they were taken in the FALL.Its a FALL photo contest!!!!
Received your pm Links, thank you for looking into it, but sadly it still is not working properly for voting on the Reflections of Fall and Window of Fall photos and the 3rd submission of the leaves with dew is still lost when I checked just now.

The voting on photos is a new feature on theBubbler and apparently all the bugs have not been worked out yet.
I just voted myself, and noticed that the vote does not actually get tabulated. So it will just show you choose the photo. When voting ends the number of votes each received will show.
It appears that you can change your vote until the voting closes. You can do so by going to the homepage of the contest and click on clear your vote. You can then choose a new photo.
If anyone is missing any photos please let me know and I will work with you to get the photo back into the contest.
Not changing the rules. Simply making it easier to pick the best of all the wonderful photos that were submitted.
You would have been allowed to vote for three rather than just one.
Wasn't trying to cause an issue just that any change during any contest simply means changing the rules in the middle of the game ... just mentioned this before any changes were made and members may speak up. You advertised the rules at the begining and most contests I've ever seen never changes for whatever reasons.
It is a good idea though..didn't want you to think otherwise. And any learning experiences from this new and great contest can always be things to incorporate in the next contest.
This is just my thoughts on this, not trying to tell you how to run your show here.

I am still missing one photo that was submitted. My thought when you moved the photos into other galleries (I was emailed this was done), maybe a delete button was hit since the image is no longer available nor is it in my photo section? Just a thought.

OK, just got the message that it appears you can't vote for your own photo. lol just wrote back and laughed that I was caught looking as if I thought my own was the best and trying to vote for myself. lol OK, not really that vain, just really liked my photo. I will be sure to vote for someone else since there are many wonderful pics to choose from.
Thanks again links for everything you are doing and everyone else on this great contest. This is a learning experience for all of us this time around.

Hi, Lauri reporting in. I've been trying to find a bunch of my missing images from the fall contest as well...I just figured I was inept at navigating the system..ie. the emails I received stated where to "look" for the new placement and I couldn't figure that out at all. Further, it seems like half the time I am navigating the system I get either a "Zoints Message" or just a "you are not registered" message. I am very frustrated and I imagine you are even more so, since you tried to do something nice and it backfired. Regardless, I have enjoyed looking at everyone's images as they are all a "moment in time".

I still can't seem to find the following entries in the FAll 2007 photos:
"oak leaves and sun rays",
"dew drops beading on an oak leaf",
"The dew hangs on as the rays burn through",
"Guardian Angel",
"Red Oak",
"Princeton Gold blanket",
"fall angel",
"Sun rays burn through the fog",
"backlight oak leaves",
and "Guardian Angel".

You are doing anything wrong. Some of the ones you mention are there. Some are not. I don't know where those photos went.
If you go to the Fall 2007 Gallery page. On the left there is a view by.
Change that to view by members. You can then click on your name and you will see the photos that are there.
One good thing is we learned the hard way there are bugs in the system.
I have fixed the voting system. Please revote for the ones you would like to win! Sorry for any inconveniences this may have caused, but hey, Florida couldn't even get voting right the first time.
I just tried to vote and have no clue if it worked or not. I clicked on the word vote under the picture and then nothing else happened.....
Does that mean I voted or not?
