Re: Any Veterinarians?
I am a retired vet technician - now a stay at home mom. Make sure your school guidence counselor knows your intentions - they can help you with choosing a school to attend and what each school requires. You do realize that it's a long road to become a veterinarian? You can do your basic college coursework at one college and then transfer to a veterinary college - again, your guidence counselor should be able to help you with that.
Get good grades now - take as many biology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology classes as you can now.
Vet schools not only look at your academic records, they like to see some sort of activities related to animals in your history. 4H has a veterinary science project. You can work at a vet office in the kennel or general help - you wouldn't believe what you can pick up from just hanging around there. Volunteer at your local shelter.
Good luck!
