The fact that extinction is forever makes me have to think for many living organisms it just might be the end of the era but still for others they have been brought back.
Recently in Russia, a complete perfectly preserved baby mammoth was found in the permafrost of north central region near to the Kara Sea and Ural Mountain Range by a nomadic hunter and sheepherder. This is wonderful news to science we just might be able to resurrect a breathtaking species. I'm very excited to see if an Ice Age mammal may again roam. I do hold my hopes high for the possibility especially since this species died off around 6,000 years ago up in the northern stretches of Alaska and Canadian Yukon.

Little Lyuba has been lying in the frozen ground for about 40,000 years. WOW
Also note we did bring back an Pleistocene horse’s ancestor. A re-establish species again is roaming freely back from extinction the Konik horse is a direct descendant of the extinct European horse, the Tarpan. The Tarpan, Equus ferus ferus, was the Eurasian wild horse. The last specimen of this species died in captivity in Ukraine in 1918 or 1919. Horses lived some 60-70 million years ago.

Today's ancestor of the extinct Tarpan the Konik horse.
