Plus, the Weis Museum at University of Wisconsin Fox Valley will be opening up a new Dinosaur Exhibit, which will be on display for the next year. So far I've seen a lot of excellent fossils. Not going to say which dino because it’s up to you to come check them out!

About magnetic rocks have.

Alright My kind of stuff!

I have a question that I have been trying to figure out about a type of rock I found.
Meteorites are mostly magnetic right?
And do not leave a scratch mark on a test tile.. right?
They are heavier then rocks of their own size.
OK! Any rock guys here?
I have a few rocks that I found while detecting and they have those symptoms.I wrote to a few different places and they say no other rock would have those symptoms except a meteorite.
Do you know of any rock I could find on the INTERNET with a picture I can look at to see if they are similar. You don't find them real easily..I found these after years of looking ,so I am hoping one could be a meteorite.
I have looked at magnetic rocks on the geology site and the rocks I have are definitely not them..They are not led or hematite or Iron ore because they do not leave a red or grey-ish or black mark.what other rock could they be?I know where I found them one I have had for years now I found in my own yard after digging that from my husbands brothers sand pit.We used it around our basement wall.I am hoping I have one....
