Woodland Dunes to increase acreage



GREEN BAY -- Woodland Dunes Nature Center has been selected to receive $12,500 to purchase 26.7 acres of land to be included in their conservancy, according to an announcement Monday from the state Department of Natural Resources.

The new Corporate terminolgy is "Increasing their footprint"
but knowing the DNR they will have signs indicating "Keep of the dunes" or "do not step your foot here! " :lol:

Just too let everyone know "Woodland Dunes" is just a name of this refuge. It is partially woodland and the other half is marsh. It has many trails to take you all over the terrain. Geologically speaking the habitat exists atop ancient dunes from long ago seas. :lol:

where exacually are these "woodland dunes"
i lived in greenbay for a few years, and i was an avid outdoorsmen. but i dont remember this place. did i miss something?
