I like what Brandon said when he stuck up for Cochran..

Re: Survivor: South Pacific

Miss last night's episode? Watch it here:

Survivor Video - Ep 9, Cut Throat - CBS.com

So, how do you think things are shaping up? Think Cochran has any chance of winning or do you think they'll bring him to the final two?

I hate that they use the same formula every episode where they try to make you second-guess tribal.. it's like the boy meets girl, boy gets girl, something happens and boy loses girl, etc plot line they use in movies.

I would like to see Dawn and Cochran in the final two myself.. or maybe Coach and one of those two.

Upolu has to know that by taking out the entire Savaii tribe with Cochran's help, they can count on none of tribe Savaii giving their vote to Cochran in the end. which means anyone who goes to the end with Cochran has a HUGE advantage & will probably win. Then again, will they? hmmm interesting to see who ends up at the final two.

I wonder if Upolu will get rid of Cochran as soon as they are done using him to vote off the other tribe, since they will have to start voting their own former tribe members off once they are done with Savaii. Why not start by getting rid on the one easily convinced to turn on his own tribe, since they wouldn't need him anymore.

Re: Survivor: South Pacific

I love that Ozzy, Keith & the most annoying of all Jim are on redemption. Of the 3, I'd rather see Ozzy come back.

I was crossing my fingers for Jim to be voted off last night, the bf wanted to see Whitney go.. I personally would like to see Dawn or cochran win in the end, but I don't see that happening at this point.

Re: Survivor: South Pacific

I think they will keep Cochran to go to the end as he is least likely to get any winning votes.

I don't understand people getting mad when another player does what Cochran did.. the whole game is based on surviving which means doing whatever it takes to make it to the end.

I don't even like the vote at the end of the season because then it becomes a popularity contest and not about "survival".. the winner should be decided by a challenge.

I agree 100%. I never have liked the voting at the end. I think they should have the viewers vote if a challenge isn't an option. It would still be a popularity contest if we voted for the winner, but at least it wouldn't be the players voting.

Online voting with some advertisers to get past on your way in would generate a profit for the show even. I just dislike the current set up.

I am not surprised to see Edna was voted out. The previews make it look like Edna may just beat Ozzy at the challenge next week. That would be a slap in his face ha!

Re: Survivor: South Pacific

Because I think a lot of reality shows are set ups, I wouldn't be surprised to see Edna beat Ozzie.. in fact, I'll predict Coach and Edna in the final two.

Was sorry to see Cochran lose tho it was no real surprise.

I had hoped to see Ozzy & Coach in the end, but as you said "set up" will most likely have Edna beat Ozzy & land in the final 2.

Re: Survivor: South Pacific

I think Brandon has some deep seated issues that have always made him a wild card.. that was kind of a dumb move he pulled tonight but in his mind, he did the right thing.

Next week is the 2 hour finale.. right now, I'd like to see Brandon vs Coach for the final two.. barring that, a Coach vs Ozzie would be entertaining.

BTW- that "praying to God" stuff they keep pulling out of their hats is a bit too much.. I don't think any of them are genuine, except maybe Brandon.

So, I actually missed the ending.. company came then the phone rang.

But my neighbor filled me in.. were you surprised?

I'm actually glad of the outcome, even if I think Survivor is rigged a bit.
