I watched for some of the performances... Weather alerts for a Tornado watch in our area cut into 2 of the performances I was waiting on, so I was disappointed.

I don't mind alerts so long as they don't constantly break in just to repeat themselves.. they can put a news crawl at the bottom of the screen and more news at 11 or whatever..

Agreed.. This was the same warning every 20 minutes and just so happen to be during the performances

Our news never went off the air.. just a constant radar image on the screen with a voiceover telling us the same thing over and over for 3 hours..

wow! I guess it's good to get the word out, but man 3 hrs of that is nuts!

I agree.. our news stations serve a 4 state area tho so even tho we weren't presently affected, they were warning people to the south of us, etc.
