Any predictions? Will you be watching?

(I hope Avatar doesn't get best picture. It was amazing technologically and visually, but the storyline was nothing new really.)

I'm hoping Sandra Bullock wins for best actress and Jeff Bridges for best actor. I'm betting that Avatar will get best picture even though I wasn't really impressed with it.

I think Hurt Locker was a better movie than Avatar in terms of Best Picture.. I love Jeff Bridges and Sandra Bullock both.

Since I've hardly seen most of the movies in the running, it's really hard to say who should win.

Does the Avatar story seem a bit like Fern Gully? Someone else said that and it is kind of true. Great animation even if I only saw it in regular instead of 3D.

Thought Meryl Streep was great as Julia Child.

Hope to catch some of the other movies in the near future.
