We are doing the 2 week free trial for Netflex right now but none of us used it today. Actually I haven't used it once yet but my son watches movies alot.
Hit Red Box tonight.. it's a two mile walk either way but I figure that's my exercise for the evfening
Rent Four Christmases tonight:Haven't had a chance to watch it yet.. what did you rent lately?
I saw "Four Christmases" a few weeks ago and thought it was good. A couple of other really funny ones I rented recently were "The Hangover" and "The Invention of Lying."
We don't have a Red Box thing around here yet and the only place to rent movies is at Movie Gallery. I heard some of their stores are going to be closing soon including the ones in Mt. Horeb and Verona which were the only places to rent movies in those towns. I wonder if it has something to do with Netflix being so inexpensive.
Yeah, Four Christmases was pretty good.. also want to see the other two movies you mentioned.
Our Blu-Ray player will allow you to connect to your NetFlix account and stream movies directly to the tv.. may give that a try.

That's cool Dave! I remember watching Roller Derby on tv, but I think it was in the late 60's or maybe early 70's. I hear it's making a bit of a comeback now.
I rented The Accidental Husband today but haven't had time to watch it yet. I also bought the pre-viewed movies The Invention of Lying, All About Steve, The Hangover and The Vampire's Assitant. They were having a sale of buy 2 get 2 free, so I did.
I heard today that our Movie Gallery here is going to be closing this summer. The only other place in town that rents movies is a grocery store that has the Red Box thingy and they aren't the new releases. There are no other towns close to us that rent movies either. The clerk at Movie Gallery said that the company had bought out another movie rental chain (Blockbuster Video I think) and also took over their debt of millions in the process and haven't been able to recuperate their investment so are closing numerous stores now. What a bummer!
Get Netflix. You'll be glad you did. So much more selection and you don't even have to leave the house to get a movie. No worries about late charges either.

Netflix, redbox or payperview seems to be the future. Hollwood video recently closed it's doors in Appleton.
I am sure in the fall we will be doing Netflix (even tho I despise their nagging internet popups and have tried to avoid them at all costs.)
But summer is not a time for movie watching for me.

A lot of people don’t have much food on their table
But they got a lot of forks ’n’ knives
And they gotta cut somethin’....

Last night we watched The Lovely Bones. Really good movie with some twists and turns in it. I won't give any of it away, so you'll just have to rent it.
Since our Movie Gallery store is going out of business they aren't getting the new releases in anymore. So, last week I bought "The Spy Next Door" and "Tooth Fairy." Both movies were pretty funny. Tomorrow, I'm going to buy a copy of "Alice In Wonderland" starring Johnny Depp.
My family has been relying on the library as of late. So many lesser known but good movies to see - and many old ones that I've never had the chance to see. Recently check out The Girl in the Cafe. Interesting - slow moving and quirky, but I would recommend it.
