I thought this might be an appropriate subject.. in your opinion, what is the best DVD or BGlu-Ray player? Do you own one? Which one do you own and why did you buy it?
Seems the big thing with the players these days in "internet connectivity".. our Blu-Ray player is a Samsung BD-P1950 and it has the capability to connect to and stream videos from Netflix or stream music from Pandora internet radio (with the proper connections).
Another buzz word is "1080p".. do you have that capability? Do you even need it?
Do you know about HDMI cables? Most people get talked into expensive cables but really, the less expensive cables are just as capable.. in fact, most video game stores have a stock of used cables on hand.. we got ours for just $10 vs Walmart's minimum of $27 or even more. Some cables can actually cost $100's of dollars..
