Russell is evil lol i love it!
Did you see the 1 hour preview a couple weeks ago?
They showed each member & their home life + an interview with each one... it was very interesting to see these people in their own element before actually doing the show & Russell Hantz had this plan in the works long before doing it... he wants to give everyone a lesson in evil & he is off to a good start lol

Re: Survivor: Samoa: Are You Watching?
If Russell is "for real", I don't think I'd want to do business with the guy.. not to mention calling the women dumb, dumber, etc. I hope he gets voted off early but I bet they keep him in as long as they can.
I'm rooting for Ben cuz he's from Missouri!
Missed the preview show

I have a feeling they will vote him off early & they would be smart to do so, but I personally would prefer he stay on till close to the end, at least he is entertaining with his "dumb azz girls alliance" as he calls it lol
2 of my co-workers have said they were totally offended and mad that they allow him to say those things on the show.. I had to laugh. I find it funny that they are offended by reality tv or someone who they will never meet lol
I'm on some reality tv forums and the buzz is all about how rude he is, Therefore he is getting the reaction he was seeking.

Re: Survivor: Samoa: Are You Watching?
I'm sure Russell was thrown into the mix by the producers just for the "water cooler" (or theBubbler) effect he will have on the show. Any publicity is good publicity, so they say.
Looks like there will be some real action on next weeks show...
I'm a guy and I'm offended by guys like that but I'm also offended at the reason he'll be kept around - to appeal to the so-called "mob mentality". People love a good car wreck.
I realize it's "only" a reality show.. be nice to see something a bit more uplifting at times.

I too figure he was put in place by the producers & for some reason i dont remember him from the preview show, though i am told he was on it & i must missed his part in the show.
I love Reality tv & anything that makes it more entertaining is good by me, be it offensive or what not, since it doesn't effect me and i'd be flipping the channel if it was boring.
I cant wait for January, Celebrity Apprentice is suppose to be bigger than ever!

I highly doubt Russell will be on long, you could get your wish lol
I personally hope it's not him & he scams his way to the end, that would make for good reality drama for the next month or so, but doubt that would happen & its early enough in the season that i dont really care who leaves, whether it be him or not. Honestly, I kinda hope shambo goes home, she's hard to watch.

Uh, yeah.. forgot about Shambo.. hate the hair.
You're right about Russell though and I think the producers would love to have him stay til the end.

Re: Survivor: Samoa: Are You Watching?
I'm sorry, but I lost alot of respect for Ben with his "cheap shot", shenanigans, and attitude.. he should have been the one to go.
Looks like Russell may be caught out next week..

Re: Survivor: Samoa: Are You Watching?
I thought Russell would be caught this week & it didn't happen.
I don't like Ben, he is rude & every one of his team mates are idiots for not stepping up when he kept them awake. I would have been out there knocking some sense into that dude!

Re: Survivor: Samoa: Are You Watching?
Good show tonight but they really need to come up with better / different challenges. I was glad to see Ben go.. he was an early favorite of mine because he was from Missouri but I think he showed his true colors and had to go.
I swear, Russell has to be a ringer.. I almost don't believe he's anything but someone they put in there to churn the story line.

Ben was a racist pig & i'm glad he is no longer around as well.
Russell is most likely someone the show put in place for ratings, though i imagine the players need to keep him around by not voting him out... He gets more evil each week, i love it lol

Because she did well in the challenges, but never did anything at camp.
Everyone would pitch in to help & she would say she was taking a nap or would go sit/lay on the beach when it came time to cook, clean up, get firewood or anything else. They showed clips of her always avoiding the work & hiding away... so they wanted her gone.
The leader wanted Monica gone, because she did bad at the challenge, but the others didn't see it the same way.

Re: Survivor: Samoa: Are You Watching?
Looks like there's a big storm in tomorrow's episode and Ruseell scrambles to retain his "hold" on the tribe.. personally, thinking back, Russell has been more annoying than effective.. I don't think he really holds anybody in his sway..
Be interesting to watch tomorrow!

Re: Survivor: Samoa: Are You Watching?
So Ashley is gone... I wish they would hurry up & do away with all the less interesting people & get to the good stuff already.
I figured Ashley would be gone this week... I see Liz going soon as well, since she made the mistake of doubting Russell lol

Re: Survivor: Samoa: Are You Watching?
I don't think Russell holds any real sway on the group regarding voting.. so far it looks like he's mostly talk and they seem to vote as a group. He's really an annoying element to the game tho.

annoying makes it interesting... would be kinda boring without at least one jerk each season.
I still have to wonder if they didn't plant him there & it shocks me that he hasn't even been suggested as a person to leave... If i were on that Island i'd be pushing for everyone to vote him off, he isn't THAT convincing.

My point too.. I'd have seen right thru him early on. I can't believe anyone likes or trusts him at all.
