Not only did I dislike listening to her terrible shaky sounding voice, I could not stand her attitude. When she told Simon she didn't care...I didn't care either! lol I cracked up when Simon told her that she was singing her swan song because even before they heard her for the last time they knew they would do nothing to save her.

When she said "love you simon, but i don't care" his response was "That's not true". My kids & i laughed like crazy when he said no save before she even sang her final song... we were all hoping she would be gone last night... I tried to bet either of them $5, but we all wanted to bet she WOULD be gone lol
Anoop is getting stuck in a rut each week now. Thought he was pretty good at first but I think he has gone about as far as he is able. When he leaves I doubt if we will ever hear much from him again.

Listening to the judges cracking on poor Allison's outfit which I agree wasn't very good), left me thinking later what must the judges been thinking when LADY GAGA came out singing! lol I like the song Poker Face but whatever she did to that song on the show was bad and looking at her outfit? was even worse. IMO.

I like the song as well & what she did at the beginning is the actual original song, they don't tend to play the slow beginning on the radio, probably because it does suck lol

The show ran a bit late & my dvr stopped recording at the right time, so they said Adam was next, went to commercial break & the dvr stopped right there lol i was mad at my tv!!

I think the judges are hinting for Allison to do something about that silly childish red hair she is sporting... way too bright & i swear it gets brighter all the time. She is only 16, but the hair is awful.

I sure don't think Danny nor Adam will be in the bottom three tonight but I'm not sure about Allison. She is good, but there are too many others who are great. She will have to step it up a bit if she wants to stay longer.

I felt bad for Scott but wasn't surprised that he left. Well maybe a little I thought Lil may leave before him. Lil has a wonderful voice but she is not listening to the judges when they keep trying to help her by telling her about her song choices. It's almost like she is daring everyone to remove her when she comes on each week saying she will 'change' and do better and then comes back doing the same thing the judges tell her she shouldn't do.
As far as Anoop, he is another one that will be leaving soon. He was pretty good this week but I think he is get a bit boring.
As far as 'get a life'?? LOL I am soo the same...I can't wait for next week to get my American Idol 'fix' again. lol

He has not had a bad week yet. Well, some may point out the Ring of Fire as a questionable week but I liked the way he changed that song to make it his own.
Another thing, I hear Danny and I think, wow, he has such a cool voice and then kinda forget what his song afterwards....but with Adam, I find myself looking him up the next day and the day after, and the day after on youtube.com to hear him all over again. I also find his song stuck in my head during the day sometimes! Now that is a sign of a true winner! lol Can't wait for a CD from him.

I'll admit i was surprised to see Scott leave & not Anoop, however i must remind myself that they all have to go at some point, for Danny & Adam to succeed in the end
No matter who wins (Adam), Danny & Adam will both go on to be recording artists, only difference is that the show wont make as much off of the runner up lol sooo... go Danny!!
Most times you see the runner ups go much further than the winner... in fact the year Carrie won, 7 of the last 10 went on to successful record deals. Nice odds!

I agree with you. I think Danny is doing the same types of songs all the time and like you, after the show, I too don't remember what song he sang. I really liked Adam's version of "Ring of Fire"...he iis definitely the front runner this season by far.

But on the other hand, I thought they should have let Matt go and used the 'save' for next week or the week after. It was a wrong move on the judges part. IMO

I saw her picture and heard she was making a real sensation but never actually listened to her sing until you posted this McKhay. Thanks for sharing it, she was a joy to watch and listen to.
Everyone should take the time to check this out..she is just awesome. Her voice is so pure and perfect.
I had shivers just listening to her she was so good. Loved watching the judges especially after they acted the way they did when they first saw her and then realizing how totally wonderful she is.
All I can say is, she makes you smile watching her.

I like Matt & see him doing well after the competition, but he wont win in the end.
We all know Adam & Danny would have been a better save & if America gets it wrong in the next few weeks, voting one of those two off, the judges will regret this move.
I think they only have 2 weeks left they could use the save and then after that it useless to the judges. I really can't see Danny or Adam going anywhere near the bottom of the pile in the next couple of weeks. I thought they would use it to save Allison. She landed in the bottom 3 before and could again and the judges really like her. I would have saved her instead of Matt. But I'm guessing maybe they could see that Matt is more experienced in the business and music where Allison still has some maturing to do.

I missed AI last night but did tape it so all is not lost. I did however check out Adam's performance on youtube.com this morning and was able to see he did a wonderful job (again!).
