The Story of how String Swing Co. Came to Be
Paul Theiman was a musician in 1987 who had a problem. He could not find an adequate way to hang his guitar that would allow for easy access and availability. He developed a product idea to solve his problem, asked others if it would work—was told it was crazy idea, and then the idea and product line took off. His guitar hanger has helped to develop the company to multiple product lines that they sell all across the United States. Their product lines have evolved to music and sporting good retail display systems. They have an online catalog under swingstring .com and the company has grown to 18 employees and a recent expansion. Paul, Ann, and Travis Theiman will share their entrepreneurial success story and advice on what they have learned along the way with our club membership.
