BEAKER...is a gorgeous, rare SUPER LIGHT LILAC POINT HIMMIE. He is 5 years old, neutered, 12 pounds and has a very cottony, super fine and long coat that is growing in from a neat lion cut (this is an earlier photo) and super bright blue eyes. His coat is more labor intensive than other himmies because of the cottony texture and he can become very matted if care is not taken to prevent this painful condition. Beaker came from a home where he was loved and well cared for, but his owner's young son developed a serious allergy. Beaker is chatty and a bit shy with strangers, but loves to hang out with his owners all day long. He prefers to be in a quiet household. He lived with another cat most of his life and would do well in a multi-cat household. He is a lover, not a fighter! Beaker will greet you at the door every time you come home and loves to chat with you about his day and sleep at the foot of your bed all night long. He is an easy eater too, preferring only dry food. Beaker will take a while to warm up to his new home, but once he settles in, he will be the love of your life! Both Moonpie and Beaker sound like very loving family cats. Sad that the son developed serious allergies. But this happens at times and it's great that purebred rescue is here to help kitties in need, find new 'forever' homes.




MOONPIE...is a spritely BLUEPOINT HIMALAYAN. She is 4 years old and spayed and has a long coat that is currently growing in from a neat lion cut and bright blue eyes. She is 7 pounds. Moonpie came from a home where she was loved and well cared for, but her owner's young son developed a serious allergy. Moonpie is full of personality and opinions and loves loves loves people. She would do great in a family where the children will be respectful and give her lots of attention every day. She insists on being front and center in her owner's life! She comes from a multi-cat household but is a more dominant, self-assured personality, so she gets along best with easy-going males. She is chatty, loves to be on your lap or lounging with you in your bed, and is super playful. The best home for her would be experienced with the maintenance needs of Persians/himalayans as she does have a thick, cottony coat. FOSTERED IN RACINE, WI.

BUBBLES...is a pleasingly plump SEALPOINT SIAMESE. She is 8 years old, spayed, front declawed, weighs 11.5 pounds and has sky-blue, slightly crossed eyes. Originally purchased from a pet store as a kitten, she ended up being passed around various households within a family by no particular fault of her own. She eventually ended up back with the original owners but had some conflicts with the resident office cat. Now she is ready to once-and-for-all, find a home where she can enjoy life forever. She's very affectionate with her foster mom, purring a big greeting when they are together. She enjoys playing, especially with string toys. She's independent, doesn't need constant attention and is not afraid to express her opinion either. She's not a loud girl or excessively active, making her ideal for an apartment, condo or smaller home living situation. (Landlords will love the fact she is front-declawed.) In fact she would love to spend her day sleeping undisturbed in a sunbeam and then awaken to greet you and share dinner. She's a great one-on-one kitty who should be an only kitty and in an adult household. (She's too independent for children.) Only 5 pounds...with all that hair. Really a tiny kitty.


BILLY RAE...is a lovely BLUE AND WHITE BICOLOR PERSIAN. She is a TINY little miss...only 5 POUNDS and is spayed and has a full dental done. She has a medium-care coat and brught gold eyes (and no, they don't glow, that's a camera flash result, LOL! Rae's foster mom just ADORES her and says she is VERY cuddly and "just a sweetie." She enjoys being snuggled and BRUSHED and is crazy for fishing pole toys with feathers on the end of them! This little feline is fine with other gentle, quiet cats and could use a similar type of home. She would be a PERFECT companion for an older person or couple looking to dote on a furry little friend. GEORGIE...is a stunning CALICO PERSIAN. She's a solid 10 pounds, spayed, and just had a complete dental. Her silky coat has rich, vibrant swirls of orange and black, topped off by soft white mittens and a white bodice. Her greenish gold eyes and sweet doll face make her one of the prettiest persians we've had in a while! When Georgie's elderly owner could no longer care for her, she was shut up in a room with almost no human contact for 2 months. Then she was left at a humane society. Poor girl---she was so lonely and in need of care! Since coming into rescue she has had a badly needed dental and a complete blood panel that revealed purrfect results. Now she is all healed up and willingly seeks attention and affection. She is a gentle, quiet girl who will make you feel good just by watching her. One of her cutest moves is to sit or lay down crossing one little white paw over the other. Gosh, she's pretty! Given her previous home environment and her age (8 years old), Georgie would do best in a quiet adult home. She would be fine with another gentle kitty or respectful dog. TOMMY...is a handsome BLUEPOINT HIMALAYAN. He is 4 years old, neutered and his medium-care coat is growing out if a modified "lion cut." He has a nice "doll" face and brilliant blue eyes. Tommy is a quiet, gentle soul. His foster mom says that he LOVES playing with his toys and is BIG ON BRUSHING (always a PLUS with this breed!). He is affectionate and has a quiet rumble of a purr that lets you know he is happy to have you give him attention and to be somewhere safe and secure. We don't know Tommy's background (he came in from a shelter with no information) but someone is sure missing out on a NICE kitty! Tommy is fine with other cats and gets long fine with the respectful older children in the foster home. Active dogs and small kids would be too noisy for him. FOSTERED IN OSHKOSH, WI.

Yet another terrible story of horrible conditions! The poor animals that had to endure so much trauma in their lives. This poor kitty deserves the best for the rest of her life. Hopefully someone will come along and offer her just that soon.

DEMI...is a cute RUDDY ABYSSINIAN. She is about 4 years old, spayed and just recently hit the 5 pound mark as she recovers from a wretched past. Like so many other kitties that find us, Demi is very lucky to have made it into rescue. This past spring a local animal control was notified about a home with an overwhelming number of dogs. Upon investigation, 65 Italian Grayhounds were found in filthy conditions and were confiscated. Demi was found locked in a similarly filthy bathroom with no food or water. Nobody knows how long she had been there or where she had come from before becoming part of that house of horrors. When she came into rescue Demi was terrified of everything. Hoping only to survive, she tried to become part of the floor, flattening herself attempting to be invisible whenever anyone came near. Picking her up was nearly impossible as she turned into a writhing, frenetic mass of arms and legs. She didn't know what it was like to be pet, snuggled or respected. HOWEVER after lots of time, patience and love by her doting foster mom, Demi is a new kitty! And WOW what a kitty she is! Her Abyssinian personality has come out and she is busy, busy, busy. She explores, plays and investigates everything. She can't WAIT until her foster mom is in the room. Demi talks and chats, climbs on, walks over and buries herself into mom's arms and lap. The more time she gets with mom, the happier she is. Demi needs someone who wants to dote on her, be her companion and who understands her energetic and inquisitive nature. Grandma's antique china needs to be kept safely behind doors because she will want to explore it. Young children would probably frighten her and noisy, energetic dogs would be WAY too much (she's had enough of dogs in her life anyway!). She will adjust to an easy going kitty and would likely be fine with older, respectful children. It's time to make this little girl's life right for the rest of it! FOSTERED IN OSHKOSH, WI. What a really nice breed of cat. The facial look of a Persian but not the work of the long hair they have.





ZELDA...is a darling TORTI EXOTIC SHORTHAIR. She is around 5 years old, spayed and has the short, dense coat and flat face of the breed and bright gold eyes. She's around 7 pounds. The Exotic Shorthair breed is a combination of Persian and American Shorthair. So the Persian face comes through as does the coat of the American Shorthair. This is universally a really nice breed. Just about every Exotic we've had in this rescue has been mild-mannered, quiet and just SWEET. Zelda is no exception. She came in as a stray to a local animal control so we don't a history, but she is doing very well in her foster home and is now ready for something more permanent! She is affecationate and low-key...somewhat playful but not much so. She has been fine with other cats in her foster home and would probably be ok with quiet dogs that would not bother her. The best home for her would also be on the quiet side and would appreciate a little pumpkin like her! Kids 12 and older would be fine. FOSTERED IN MADISON, WI.

Sheee's baaack! I remember Tawney when she was in before. I took one look at her and knew she wouldn't be around very long. She was adopted quickly too. I bet someone will grab her again soon. She is one very cute young kitty.



TAWNEY...is a wonderful SEALPOINT SIAMESE. She is around 1 year old, spayed and has a short, easy coat and bright blue eyes. Yes, Tawney has been on the website before and was adopted out. But her energy level was way too much for an older cat in the new household so she had to come back.
