Historic Concordia Tour of Homes '09

The tour starts at the Tripoli Shrine building and will include a number of other historic area homes. The date of the tour is June 20, 2009. I might check this out myself since I did see someone bought and fixed up an old house that I always looked at when we drove by. I always thought it was a shame to let such a nice house fall apart. Now it's been turned into a bed and breakfast. Glad to see it restored.

We got to go on this tour today and I enjoyed it very much. I would do another home tour again anywhere. It was fun seeing the houses and hearing the stories about the work done to them or being done. One house had a ghost story with it, but he was a friendly ghost seen standing in the room at times. I stood in that very same spot.

The Schuster mansion originally cost $23,000 to build and another home cost $3000 to build. That's so funny, just add a zero or 2 to that amount now.
