Milwaukee Zoo - Family Free Day Dec. 6

The Milwaukee County Zoo is offering a family free day on Saturday, Dec. 6. Bundle up the family and head to the zoo.

There is still a charge for parking in the lot.

BBBRRR It's going to be a cold one....but that means those polar bears will be active!

At least poor Zero the polar bear is out of the moat now.

That was just unreal how long he was left down there. After the 3rd day I kept saying he was not going to come out on his own.

I thought for sure he would have gone for the food in the crate they put in there, but he didn't do that either.

I sure wouldn't want to brave the cold today to go to the zoo. I wonder if anyone is going to. I'm sure if you wear your thermal underwear and a snowsuit, it wouldn't be so bad.

I suspect he was trapped once before in the live trap and that's why he decided not to go in it that last time.

I did not make it to the zoo yesterday. I had client homes to care for.

Today I'm heading to a meeting at Madacc ~ so no zoo today.....
