Israeli singer/composer Ayelet Rose Gottlieb's performance juxtaposes formal elegance against raw sensuality.

In Mayim Rabim, her song cycle composed to texts from the erotic biblical poem, Song of Songs, her thrilling use of Middle Eastern music as a source material for the largely western tradition of jazz boldly leads us into the 21st Century.

In her music you will find a unique improvisational approach infused with elaborate composition, spiced up with Middle Eastern scales and adventurous texts. She transforms "Mayim Rabim/Great Waters" into a multi-media performance piece
