Hello Katherine, we have ALOT in common!
I've raised 4 boys ( 24, 23, 23, and 19) and I am still in the process of raising 2 girls (17 and 9).
I understand about "being busy". I am currently working to get my business off the ground and provide work for others rather than just myself. My greatest hope is to offer stay-at-home mom's the opportunity to work from home. There are a lot of companies "outsourcing" computer work to other countries, but I believe we can "help our own" by providing jobs here, where they are greatly needed! Especially to single mom's. There is definately a need and with that an opportunity. Single women with children are among the most poverty sticken groups in our nation. I understand, as I have been there. But it doesn't have to stay that way. We are also "the majority" in our country. All we need is a way to "connect" and I believe our voices will be heard and our needs will be met. TOGETHER we are "STRONG". TOGETHER we are "THE MAJORITY". TOGETHER we can make a "DIFFERENCE". TOGETHER we can help future generations.
TOGETHER - we can raise intelligent, self-aware, caring individuals who will raise the bar on our current self-centered society. Women and Children make up the greatest majority in the U.S. YET WE ARE the most poverty stricken in our nation. "Children" do not get to vote. MOTHERS are their voice, their strength, their reason to continue. Because we understand "our children are our future".
