I am currently reading the book, The Last Talk With Lola Faye by Thomas H. Cook. On p.42 he has a line that in this place and time in my life resonates with me, it reads, "the way her thoughts rushed around like rabbits in a field,"

And on P.75, "Fitzgerald said that you lose yourself in pieces."...going to have to look up the context of that one.

The most important recent personal news is that just 10 minutes ago today (1/14/11) is that Bud, my 81 year old 'hubby' returned safely off of our roof, having cleaned the chimney that is used by our wood burning stove which lives in the basement.

I was about to start a thread - because I think it deserves a thread of it's own - about pet loss in the pet section but I know that this morning I cannot do it justice because of time constrains. So frustrating.... I may have to wait for a "Chatty Kathy" moment.

Why is it that I really have to be in the mood to write? I must be sort of "in the mood" or I would not be playing here in the journal, but just can't do a thread justice right now.
