Our dog Gypsy spent her first 2 years in a breeding kennel prior to becoming a part of our family. Needless to say she wasn't trained and her behavioral actions mimicked an abused dog. We chose "Thomas Haliburton" as our dog trainer because his method seemed suitable for our dog. We were right in our decision. His technique gradually brought Gypsy to relax and pay attention to our desires. Today, Gypsy is calm and a wonderful pet. We will continue to follow Thomas's training instructions and we are certain that Gypsy will become even a more enjoyable part of our family.

Hi Tom,
I learned so much working with you, and both Teddy and I appreciate your help and skillful instruction.
Before receiving personal training with Thomas Haliburton, it seemed I was always screaming at my dog, Teddy: "NO!" Tom taught me how to use positive commands and reinforcement to control Teddy's negative behaviors. Without ever raising his voice, Tom commanded the attention and obedience of Teddy. Learning with Tom was a pleasure for both Teddy and me.

Tom Haliburton is supportive, and encourages his clients. He teaches patience and understanding and is kind but firm to the dogs when he is in charge. He is never harsh or abusive to them and the dogs love him, as did my German Shorhair Pointer, Maxx. He is very experienced at dog training and very talented and gifted. I would recommend him highly.
