Yes I sell the fish to pond owners. Working with the public can be very enjoyable and most always is. However occassionally we run into your exs type and thats no fun. Working out doors is very nice but govt. field work has its share of beaurocratic stuff which keeps me in the office too. I also am required to live at work which takes lots of the enjoyment away some days.

I am a DNR fish hatchery supervisor near lake michigan. we raise and stock 500000 steelhead annually in the big pond. I also have a small part time business rearing bass and hybrid bluegills, selling aerators and pond supplies etc.
