Recently, I was given bad family news; my father-in law has rectal cancer. We do not know the course of action at this time. We were told however rectal cancer is curable so, I did want to let my friends know I am keeping my head up and I hope that this will have a happier ending than thought earlier. Also, Happy 4th of July Everyone! We have been invited to so many events over the weekend that the only thing I am sure about is that we will be on our Harley. 0 Comments 06-06-2008

Wishing all a great weekend with your family and friends! The hubby and I and of course Schatzi too will be in Oconto this weekend staying with friends. We all plan to take the pontoon boat out for a ride on the river and maybe do a little fishing. Not so sure about tenting out but hopefully mother nature won't rain on our parade this weekend. The hubby and I will also find time this long weekend to be out on the Harley too. We have enjoyed many brisk evenings so far and all I can say is that it has been chilly fun riding. I hope all the mom's out there enjoyed their day as much as I did. I went out to lunch with family and had a good time. We went to a restaurant called Golden Corral and in my opinion it was pretty darn good. This was my first experience at this buffet styled restaurant. I feel if you have children or adults too I suppose, that are picky eaters this is a great place to take them because there are so many choices of food that all should find something they like to eat.
