Maggie Fox here...new member. Love your recipes! I'm drooling just reading them! I love the outdoors, fishing, reading, and of course.."Yip...I'm on the computer again!!"

Just learning how to get around on this site. Put my first Journal entry in today... about Spring in Fox Lake.

Fund this site while trying to find a small dog for a companion, preferably an adult thats Free to a Good Home. Impossible quest. The pounds all want over a hundred even for an older huge dog! Only have a small onebedroom place in this half of a ranch home. Oh well..it sucks being poor but there are advantages. Take care and have a Happy Spring!!

I see you enjoy mushrooms! A couple years ago we came across some Morells in our yard near where a tree had been cut down the previous year. I guess they liked the saw dust. We had to research first, to make sure they were the edible variety and we got lucky. YUMM! They were fabulous.

Have you posted any great new recipes lately? I'm going to add my 3 favorite soups: Hot N' Sour soup and Miso soup and Pozole soup soon.

How are you today? I was preparing some split pea soup and thought about all the great recipes you have posted and then I realized... I just happen to have some pumpernickel croutons on hand : )

My recipe is very similar to yours the only difference is I add some Thyme, chicken broth and a little bit of good ale.

I just found this really excellent UFO site in Canada ran by a man named Brian Vike he has a talk radio show. I sent him a letter on my thoughts and here is a site that has recordings of his radio show. Don't loose these there is some good listening stuff in here.
