Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate,

The second one said,
"But we don't care."
The third one said,
"I see witches in the air."
The fourth one said,
"Let's run, and run, and run."
The fifth one said,
"Get ready for some fun."
Then whoosh went the wind,
and out went the lights,
And five little pumpkins rolled out of sight!

I'm back! Didn't go anywhere, just incredibly busy still building my house! Gee, it's been over 3 years since Hurricane Ivan hit, and just now, most people around here are getting back into their "remodeled" homes or their "new" homes! Hopefully I'll been in by Christmas.

Love the new look of the forum btw! NICE!

Keith thanks for welcoming me to the Bubbler.

This is my weekend for volunteering at Woodland Dunes Nature Center, Manitowoc County. I have been looking forward to the Saw Whet Owl catching all year. This week and the next two weeks are when the birds influx their migrating through Wisconsin. The flocks take 3 routes...along the Mississippi border and then head due east. Through the central portion of the state...Marathon County DNR station reports the most birds here. Since they are afraid to fly over Lake Michigan they will parallel the shorelines of Wisconsin. So I’ll be up into the wee hours of Sat-Sunday as part of a handful of folks on the Night Gang. Outlook is very good for a number of flyin birds to be banded and ID. I really hope the forecast will be wrong, rain means the nets won’t be opened for the safety of the volunteers. L

Next Sat the 20th is Saw Whet Owl day; a ton of activities for the whole family to enjoy…begins at 8AM. The event is starting to attract not just the locals but families from all over Wisconsin.
