Our day was fairly nondescript. We don't get too excited about Hallmark days. Though, the good news is that my kids are moving back from Paris, Fr. and will be staying with us for about a week before driving to Florida where they are settling for about a year or so. They found a bank sale unfinished home for 58K that they will be fixing up to live in, then sell and move up to the next home where they will do the same thing, and so on.

My son Chad called this morning from Miami - he and Brian are in Miami for supplies and manpower.
He had started out in construction in Haiti last month and now runs 3 teams of Volunteer Ministers.
They need good tents, tools and more Volunteer Ministers who are willing to help the people there. He said the Haitians are loving the assists, learning fast, and helping each other with it as quickly as they learn it themselves.

Usually I write a short blurb at the beginning of each newsletter. It is sent out to people who signed up at my old coffeehouse in Delavan when we were a busy and popular hang out. This site is new, as well as a holdover from the European style coffee house I owned in Delavan, Wi. So many people met and stayed friends with each other, and it was such an aesthetic place that it left a void in the area when we closed.
