Touched by darkness A silken sigh Escapes my moist lips. Lace curtains shift and sway While moonlight beams throw Dusty light through my window. In a whisper of a dream I smell the phlox Drifting on moist night air. The scent surrounds me Moondust scatters I stir not in my sleep. Fairies dance above my eyelids Their wings kiss my cheeks Dainty feet settle upon my pillow. Collect my slumbering tears. Then drift away To race the morning sun.
