I like your picture showing the effects of a Spring Snow storm when you are trying to collect maple juice. Your white drip buckets are just waiting for it to warm up and the sap to start flowing again. I photographed this Hen Mallard in a Spring Snow Storm last year and named it "I Hate Snow".

It was nice hearing from you. Yes Hillsboro is a great place to live. We love the peace & beauty of the area. We have a home 8 miles from town & 23 acres of land. We also have 3 dogs, Lily, Lady & Daffodil, to keep us busy. I have a sister & brother who still live in Barneveld who experienced the terrible tornado that went thru. Fortunately they only lost material things. Your farm sounds wonderful. They make alot of maple syrup up this way too. Take care.
