Looking for Edson/Soper family-Manitowoc Co.

I'm looking for information on Henry Benjamin Edson and his wife Achsah Howard Soper (dau. of Enos Soper and Desire Drake). They were married in Brown Co. on Oct. 9, 1842. Henry Edson was the first settler of Meeme Twp. and lived in Spring Valley. He was the first postmaster and the first town clerk of Meeme in 1847. They left WI for California in 1855. Known children of Henry and Achsah were Julia, Charlotte, Charles, and Henrietta and they were all born in Wisconsin.

Also looking for info on the Soper family. They were rumored to have been quite influential in politics in Manitowoc and Two Rivers in the 1880's. Achsah Howard Soper (dau. of Enos Soper and Desire Drake) had siblings: Dorliska Amoretta, Orville John, Evander Manly, Asaph Drake, Sylvia Ann, Ellen Louise and Evaline Mary Soper.

Hy. = Henry and it looks like first settled in it was written in as Henry D. Edson the D changed to a B later on. (Got it)
