A wedding was performed very quietly on Thurs. evening last week uniting
Charles Jonas of Chicago, an employee of the Metallic Folding Bed Co. there
and son of Charles Jonas of Racine, with Miss Hattie Eichmann, daughter of our
eminent fellow citizen H. Eichmann. County Judge Chloupek performed the
wedding. On Fri. the young couple traveled to Chicago where they will make their
home.

An old-fashioned wedding took place Thursday at English Lake. Otto Jonas
of Liberty married Miss Lena Kieselhorst in the Lutheran Church of Liberty
followed by a reception and party in the hotel at English Lake, to which
400 guests were invited. The Marine Band provided the music.
