We have farmers markets all over the city. Anyone interested can do a google search for the time/places of the different ones.

I will say though the best one is down by the lakefront on Saturdays. It is quite large with many crafters, food booths, homemade goodies, and music. Beautiful view of the lake, trolley stop right next to the market, and the museum across the road for you to make the day of it.

I have to agree, especially since I am a regular vendor at the Kenosha Harbor Marketplace!

It is always a fun and varied with the different music, chefs, artisans, and of course, the produce. I know where to get the best honey and plants I've ever purchsed! And oooohh, the corn on the cob I purchased was out of this world.

I purchased two different types of honey from the market place and they were both to die for....I think the vendors have a website you can visit to purchase more but I can't find it. Does anyone know of this honey booth and what's it's called or better yet, their website?

I love the wildflower. I think it is my favorite and the folks that own the business (names are escapeing me right now) are terrific.

I'm enjoying a little time off but am busy making product already. It does get to be a bit of a grind having every Sat. from Memorial Day to Christmas spoken for, but I do love the whole experience. The market managers are the best and the customers, with a rare exception are also.
