Some positions include patient contact, such as discharge escort or dietary menu distributor. Some assignments call for light clerical work and some are sit-down, the kind you find in day surgery or medical records. The mission of a Volunteer is to provide a service to persons in need and respond to those basic needs of the residents in an atmosphere of respect for their dignity and independence. Master Gardener Volunteers

Horticulture Programs in Kenosha County

Master Gardeners are volunteers who provide information to area residents on gardening, lawn care, trees and shrubs, flowers, and fruits. They also work with children and adults in numerous UW-Extension projects and gardens in Kenosha County.

The Circle of Hope Program through the Boys and Girls Club of Kenosha is looking for adults who are willing to spend some time making the difference in the life of a child. If you are able to spend a minimum of one hour per week with a child and able to attend a monthly meeting, you are needed.
