The city of Kenosha is quite large with over 90,000 people living here. Since the city is one of the larger cities within Kenosha County I decided to make a topic listing things you can find here in the city. Please remember to also check out the Kenosha County things to do also for events in the entire county of Kenosha.

Since 1940, the Kenosha Symphony Orchestra has been a cultural cornerstone of southeastern Wisconsin, and has entertained and educated thousands of music enthusiasts and local school children.

Kenosha Pops Concert Band performances have been a Kenosha favorite for over eighty years. Relax in our lakefront park while listening to the Pops perform everything from Sousa to Sinatra, from the Beatles to Bach. Bring your lawn chairs and a cooler or purchase refreshments from the Friends of the Pops.

A grand launch of more than 300 kites will officially kick-off the event. See flying demonstrations of gigantic show kites (100+ feet) and very cool stunt kite demonstrations by professional flyers from the around the Midwest.
The parade begins at 22nd Avenue, travels east on 60th Street, turns around the south side of Library Park, heads east again on 61st Street, and finally travels north to Wolfenbuttel Park.

The Pike River Rendezvous is one of the largest fur-trapping and trading reenactments in the area!

Five beautifully restored electric streetcars travel a two-mile loop, providing a scenic tour of the Lake Michigan shoreline, HarborPark, two historic districts, downtown business district and the METRA train station.
Museum on Kenosha’s harbor features the Yesteryear Gallery, the Rambler Legacy Gallery with changing Kenosha automobile exhibits, the adjacent Southport Light Station, and a gift shop with lighthouse and other mementos.

On exhibit is a portion of the George and Nan Pollard collection, as well as the works of guest artists. George Pollard is an international artist who has completed more than 5,000 portraits, while Nan has illustrated over 2,000 children’s works.

Experience the thrill and excitement of bicycle racing at the Washington Park Velodrome. Nestled in a bowl-shaped natural terrain, the 333 meter asphalt track attracts cyclists from all over the midwest.
Located at Washington Road and 22nd Avenue, Kenosha, Wisconsin is home to the oldest operating velodrome in the USA.
The Kenosha Velodrome Association sponsors American Bike Racing sanctioned races as well as training sessions at the "bowl" throughout the summer. Races are held every Tuesday night beginning in mid-May and continuing through August. Free lawn seating is available on the hill on Washington Road. Citizen Stock bike racing is held every Monday night from early June through mid-August so that kids from 2 to 102 can get in on the action. The bike track is open to the public, however the Kenosha Velodrome Association has priority for racing events and practice.
