Watertown Clean Sweep
On Saturday May 5, 2007 from 8 - 11 Jefferson County will be holding a clean sweep for farmers, households and businesses with hazardous wastes.
The "event" will be held at the Watertown Recycling Center in Watertown.

Farmers are encouraged to bring fetilizers, pesticides, veterinary supplies, lead and metal-based paints (NO Latex), wood preservatives, batteries, freon, picric acid, pesticide rinsatees and contaminated soil.
When calling you will have to identify what you are bringing.
Folks are being encouraged to bring their medicines and prescriptions. Dont flush or throw them in the trash. Bring them free of charge. They must be in their original container.
