Any other appy lovers out there? We have 2 mares one goes back to Goer, the other to Alias King . Getting ready to buy another filly that was just born March 15th of this year. She is a beauty, bay with a large blanket all the way up her back to her withers.

We also have 2 shetlands, mare and stallion, mare is in foal I believe to the stallion, if my calculations are right, she will be due mid February of 2007. These little guys are a couple of rescues we took in and are getting them in shape and are going to sell later this spring, early summer. They had really bad feet, mare was really overgrown, and were being WAY overfed on a mix of corn/oats (2 3lb coffee cans a day)

HEY YA ALL IM SHAUN AND I AM AN APPY LOVER IF YOU SEEN THE LEAPARD APPY I HAD WHEN I RAN BARRELS YOU WOUD FALL IN LOVE WITH HIM,BUT WE HAD TO SELL HIM AFTER I GOT OUT OF RODEO CUZ HE WAS NOT FAST ENOUGH AS MY MOTHER SAID. BUT THE HORSES I HAVE NOW WOULD NOT SELL THEM FOR THE WORLD. LET ME KNOW WHEN YOU MIGHT BE REDY TO LET THEM PONIES GOT TO ANOTHER GOOD HOME. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR SOME RESUCE PONIES THAT I COULD WORK WITH SO MY DAUGHTER COULD GET SOME EXPERIANCE WITH THEM BUT CAN NOT FIND ANY, AND WE DONT HAVE THE BIG BUCKS TO BUY ANOTHER ANIMAL RIGHT NOW. I JUST SPENT A GOOD CHUNK OF MONEY ON A PUPPY FOR MY DAUGHTER THAT WAS GOING TO BE SHOT IF WE DIDNT BUY HER CUZ SHE WAS KILLING CHICKENS

Thanks for the interest in the ponies Shaun, they went to a good home this weekend. Traded them to a lady in Richland Center, stallion will get alot of riding time and the mare will get more work done with her. They had a really nice mare, paint/qh/welsh cross that was well trail broke just a little too big for the kids, so now we have her. May keep her as a trail horse for our older daughters. So far she is settling in good with our appy mares, just working out the pecking order as usual.

Keep looking, always a pony out there that needs a good home and a second, third, fourth chance.

Appy lover here too, but don't ride anymore because of Back Injury Have to sell out of our horses before winter. Good luck with the rescue horses.
