At one time I remember Keith telling me about alot horse lovers here at here at theBubbler.

:idea: At the time this discussion was mentioned, I did not think to much about it. I am a animal lover, but do not know a lot about horses. When new forum categories were added I had a idea. Why don't we have a forum topic about horses. Well here it is, and I am hoping this topic can be utilized by our members to talk about what you have been coming to theBubbler for and posting your links and ads on the classifieds for a long time.

Feel free to use this post to tell other equine enthusiasts at theBubbler what you enjoy about this very popular outdoor activity in Wisconsin.

Moved back to WI last March after a three year stint in Kentucky. Originally from SE WI, we are now in beautiful SW WI in Richland County. Are there any Saddlebred folks in our area? (Saddlebred lovers, trainers, riders, breeders??)

Northwoods Mounted Search and Rescue is pleased to make itself available for any search and rescue needs you may experience in this area.

We are a mounted horse unit of between 10 and 20 people, trained in first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, land navigation, personal and equine survival, and other outdoor skills. Augmented by radio equipment, we use well-trained horses capable of searching large tracts of forest land, snowmobile trails, fields, and other terrain to locate downed aircraft, hunters or hikers lost in the woods, or respond to other emergency situations. We work with, not replace, services provided by law enforcement, volunteers on foot or all-terrain vehicles, Civil Air Patrol, or Headwaters Search and Rescue dog patrols.

The unit works under the direction of local sheriff's departments.

I finally took RedRaven's advice and we've started forums for animal lovers here at theBubbler.com. We're blessed with a LOT of horse lovers here and we hope you all like to communicate as well!
